Close your lazy eyes You don't wanna see My hands get untied From this slavery When the universe Free me from this curse Will you change your mind Or keep dragging me Inside this prison you lie? Face the truth I won't walk on the line In this lifetime Face the truth Gonna leave this behind And take back my time Peel your lazy eyes Don't you wanna see Your own hands untied From your old beliefs You can't stand who finds Wings that set them free Close your judging eyes And just let me be You live in a prison of mind That I'm gonna leave behind Face the truth I won't walk on the line In this lifetime Face the truth Gonna leave this behind And take back my time In this lifetime In this lifetime I’ll take back my time In this lifetime I’ll take what’s mine In this lifetime I’ll take what’s mine In this lifetime I’ll take back my time And you know I’d change if I could God knows I’ve tried and it did me no good Life would be so easy if I could be just as blind as you are But my soul can’t lie Face the truth I won't walk on the line In this lifetime Face the truth Gonna leave this behind And take back my time

I am so sick Got all the diseases out there Life is so mixed I'm gonna have to crawl Out of this hole 'though I'm getting thirsty out here I don't need to dig any more deep to make the water spill out I am so low What the hell is wrong with me I see no problem Do I need to crawl Away from you All the way into the rabbit's hole to save my soul and get this world I don't fit figured out I need a fresh start I don't like what I see I need a true heart Defibrillate me I'm getting so sickened inside By doing only what i'm told To live an ordinary life I don't believe in so I am so cool Shame no one can see it in me I am so through That I won't let me die Just to stay true And shove it on your faces how I make my own ways no matter how you try to make me buy I've been so right All my life and told to be wrong So hard I tried To find a middle ground Wasting my time 'cause I just didn't know that when you have a call there nothing else you do to make you satisfied I need a fresh start I don't like what I see I need a true heart Defibrillate me I'm getting so sickened inside By doing only what i'm told To live an ordinary life I don't believe in so Now i'm the proof of all your crimes And all your pills are getting old I've been a pet for all your lies But not for longer now

Path of Fire 04:25
It's a path of fire to paradise How many miles to go It burns my feet as I realize it also freezes my soul Freedom is no longer Banished for outcasts like you and I Freedom is out there for everyone Out for a price most can't buy Labeled since the day you are born One name, one nation, one law Can't take for granted just can't ignore Can't hate it can't quit it can't get bored Freedom is no longer Banished for slaves like you and I Freedom is out there for everyone And belonging is a must-buy It's a path of fire to paradise How many miles to go It burns my feet as I realize It also freezes my soul Can't take for granted this choiceless privilege Might even get to fight 'one else's war Hide Sometimes I wish to hide away and find Try to find some place no one can own You can try but it seems there is no free land left It's alright The world ain't for wolves out of the pack It burns my feet as I realize It also freezes my soul Can't take for granted this choiceless privilege Might even get to fight 'one else's war It's a path of fire to paradise How many miles to go Can't take for granted this paradise Might even get to fight 'one else's war Might even get to fight 'one else's war Might even get to fight 'one else's war

See the light coming in See the sky tumbling Demons try to take control All the time it's getting old Always Seem to find a way Nothing can bring me down Life's a ride made to stray In and outshined When I'm found in the dark Only friction can light a spark Every scar is a lesson learned Can't be overlooked Every star could be a planet's burst Dancing out everywhere in such a perfect duet Just keep on moving along Between the shadow and sun, don't ever stay for too long Move on Step outside to get some air Shut my mind and take me there Distant view of all my thoughts Gets me through, won't get caught Always Seem to find a way Nothing can bring me down Life's a ride made to stray In and outshined When I'm found in the dark Only friction can light a spark Every scar is a lesson learned Every star could be a planet's burst Dancing out everywhere in such a perfect duet Just keep on moving along Between the shadow and sun, don't ever stay for too long Move on Sometimes somethings get out of control and there ain't much you can do Sometimes good things are yet to unfold, you dig debris to find gold Sometimes when you embrace the unknown is when you find your way home Between the shadow and sun, don't ever stay for too long Move on Between the shadow and sun, don't ever stay for too long Move on Between the shadow and sun, don't ever stay for too long Move on

about

“Growing up is not supposed to kill you!” - That was the realization I had before writing the grunge-inspired-alternative-modern-rock in Superastral Hell.

I had been away from music for 3 years and started experiencing paresthesia, nervous gastritis and anxiety crisis. The doctors couldn't find a cause for it.

So the answer came 2 weeks before my 30th birthday, when I learned the worst way what an astral hell is.

In a period of only 4 days I mourned the end of a long-term relationship, discovered my parents and I had covid (before the vaccines) and spend 12 days straight without sleep because I was terrified about the outcome.

But that's when the healing began,

After enough sleepless nights in quarantine, it became clear that I had let inadequacy take the wheel and drive me on a life that was completely unaligned with my values and passions, especially music, and the stress and regret that came with it, were the reason why I was getting sick inside.

It reminded me of how traumatized I got as kid, by seeing my father, grandfather and so many other adults around me getting sick for the same reason. And I almost ended up like them.

So I promised myself that if I made through covid I would quit everything to go back to music and spread the message that "Growing up is not supposed to kill you!"

Luckily, my parents and I recovered so, as soon as I was well enough to leave the bed, I turned off my phone and locked myself in the room to write Superastral Hell.

The whole experience felt like meditating on fire! Which is where the concept for the cover art came from.

I felt so deceived, angry and revengeful, but at the same time, so peaceful and grateful for my transformation. And the songs totally capture that.

I hope they inspire you to reject inadequacy, embrace your purpose and live a life that respects your health, your passions and your values!

And if they do, know that I have hundreds more, ready to be recorded and, with your support I will be able to get them out. It will also help me put a band together to play them live which I haven't done yet.

So please consider paying a higher amount for the record or subscribing to my Bandcamp.
